Emily is a dedicated and uplifting team player who brings a positive attitude and 4 years of administrative support, project coordination and event management experience to HPB. As the Capital Projects Assistant, she supports the Projects team by performing a variety of administrative tasks, anticipating needs before they arise and keeping the team organized.

A native Houstonian and Texas A&M graduate with a degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Sciences, Emily is eager to begin her work in the non-profit sector and serve the people of Houston. She has always been passionate about helping others and is deeply committed to expanding access to high-quality greenspaces throughout all communities. In her free time, Emily enjoys walking the bayou trails, exploring new restaurants, and discovering hidden gems throughout the city.
