Engagement Manager
Chanelle Nicole Frazier is a reformed grant writer turned urban planner, turned Houston Parks Board Outreach Manager. She attributes her love and knowledge of Houston to years of riding the Metro as a teenager, and her many years of playing in Houston parks as a child. With three years of experience as a planner and community advocate, and ten years in grant writing and program development, Chanelle is a ‘people person’ and likes to get things done quickly and efficiently. As Outreach Manager, she supports community awareness and education about local parks and greenspace one neighborhood program at a time, with an emphasis on equity. Chanelle has a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Environmental Policy from Texas Southern University, and enjoys taking walks with her family and dogs in George T. Nelson Park, commonly known as Yellowstone Park.
